The JC STEM Early Career Research Fellowship for Translation and Application provides comprehensive support and a unique opportunity to help them develop their research and innovation careers, expand their professional networks, and create social impact. The Research Grants Council of Hong Kong is a Partner Organisation of this Fellowship.

Value of the Fellowship
What will you get?
Up to 10 Fellowships are awarded in each cohort. Each Fellowship lasts a maximum of four years, including an up to 12-month local industry attachment.
Funding over the Fellowship period will encompass:
(1) Stipend: Fellows will receive a stipend of up to $530,000 per annum for 3 years. Upon successful completion of the Fellowship, an additional 15% gratuity will be offered.
(2) Academic Development and Exchange Allowance (up to $30,600 per annum for 3 years)
(3) Research Project Seed Funding (up to $300,000)
(4) Translational Research Industry Attachment Subsidy in an eligible local organisation (up to 50% of the salary, capped at $30,000 per month, for a maximum of 12 months, in addition to the three-year stipends)
Beyond financial benefits, the Fellowship offers exceptional opportunities for cross-cultural exchange and collaboration, contributing knowledge locally and globally.
